Paid Media Manager

London£45,000 + Bonus

Overview of the role:

The Paid Media Manager will report to the Head of Digital while working closely with the marketing, sales and digital teams across the business. The role is responsible for creating and executing the paid media strategy to support business objectives and customer targets across acquisition, retention and reactivation, delivering an optimised and efficient CPA and ROI for our group of bars throughout the UK. We are offering a salary upto £45,000 per annum depending on experience. The role can be remote but will require some travel to venues in the UK and our support centre in the heart of Soho, London.


Responsibilities:

  • Effectively demonstrate the value of paid media marketing activity to the business
  • Deliver, own and evolve the paid media strategy across Google, Meta and TikTok.
  • Own the relationship with our agencies to ensure they are delivering against strategy and KPIs.
  • Work closely with the web content team to identify opportunities to increase CVR of paid media traffic – applying a test and learn approach.
  • Lead paid media marketing projects, ensuring that activity goes live in line with planned launch dates,
  • performance is reviewed and optimisations made.
  • Own the paid media budgets ensuring invoices are paid and budgets are reconciled monthly.
  • Forecast and report against business and media objectives on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Stay on top of industry trends and potential new media channels.
  • Lead with a customer and content-first mindset


Skills Required:

  • Experience of growing high performing digital marketing channels
  • Experience of managing large media budgets.
  • Experience managing agencies to deliver against strategic objectives
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent multi-tasking and organisational skills
  • A problem-solving approach
  • The ability to prioritise and use initiative
  • The ability to be proactive and adopt a flexible approach

Necessary experience:

  • Hands on knowledge of Meta & TikTok Ads Platforms.
  • An understanding of customer funnels and how to target guests at each stage of their journey.
  • An understanding of what makes a high converting landing page.
  • Strong project and time management skills.
  • Excellent communicator and ability to influence.
  • Ability to make basic edits to both videos and images using Canva or similar.


Desired experience:

  • Two+ years of working agency side or two years of agency management in an in-house role.
  • Experience utilising CRM databases to re-engage with, and drive conversions from, lapsed customers.
  • Experience presenting to various stakeholder levels and changing language to adapt to the various levels.
