Recruitment Officer, Hybrid (London) £35-40k DOE + Bonus


To deliver best-in-class recruitment across Nightcap’s, ensuring every venue is fully staffed with brilliant people who embody our culture. The Recruitment Officer acts as a strategic partner to General Managers and Operations Managers, supporting the full hiring lifecycle from attraction to offer, while driving candidate quality, time-to-hire and operational readiness.


This role sits at the heart of our “grow our own talent” strategy - championing talent pipelines, delivering proactive sourcing, and ensuring the recruitment experience reflects the energy, inclusivity and high performance of Nightcap.


Recruitment Delivery & Talent Pipelines

  • Support the end-to-end recruitment for hourly and entry-level management roles across multiple Nightcap brands.
  • Maintain a proactive pipeline for priority roles such as General Managers, Utilising partner platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, Caterer, Leisure jobs etc.) to source talent directly.
  • Reduce time-to-hire through proactive candidate management, talent pooling and fast turnaround screening.
  • Ensure job adverts reflect Nightcap tone of voice, are brand-specific and optimised for candidate attraction.
  • Maintain job templates within the ATS.
  • Screen, shortlist and schedule interviews at pace, maintaining high candidate quality.

Partnering GMs & OMs

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with General Managers and Operations Managers, acting as their recruitment expert.
  • Provide weekly staffing updates, vacancy progress and insight on hiring trends.
  • Challenge and influence where needed on candidate quality, pay alignment, job design or hiring decisions.
  • Support workforce planning with each venue: seasonal, new site openings, and event trading peaks.

Candidate Experience

  • Deliver a seamless, high-touch candidate journey – timely comms, clear expectations and brand-led interactions.
  • Ensure every candidate experiences the Nightcap magic, regardless of outcome.
  • Protect Nightcap’s employer brand by resolving bottlenecks quickly and escalating risks early.
  • Support hiring managers to give constructive feedback to candidates

Attraction, Marketing & Brand

  • Partner with Marketing to deliver high-impact recruitment campaigns across socials, job boards and community networks.
  • Create engaging content (short videos, venue spotlights, “day in the life” stories) for candidate attraction.
  • Activate local attraction strategies for each venue: job fairs, open days, partnerships with colleges and hospitality networks.

Compliance, Systems & Process Excellence

  • Support right-to-work checking processes and pre-employment compliance.
  • Track recruitment KPIs including time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, pipeline conversion and source effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline process and improve recruitment efficiency.
  • Ensure GDPR compliance and safeguarding of candidate data.



Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to talent initiatives such as:
  • Onboarding and brand immersion
  • Management Development Programme candidate identification
  • Apprenticeship attraction
  • New site opening staffing support
  • Share insights with the People Team on trends, risks, hiring hotspots and market intelligence.

  • At least 2–3 years’ recruitment experience, ideally in multi-site hospitality, retail or leisure.
  • Strong stakeholder management, especially with volume hiring managers.
  • Confidence partnering and influencing GMs and OMs.
  • Proven delivery at pace – able to juggle high-volume hiring with competing priorities.
  • Excellent screening skills and ability to assess cultural fit.
  • Familiarity with ATS systems (Talent Funnel desirable).
  • Strong written communication for job adverts, messaging and candidate comms.
  • High attention to detail for compliance and process accuracy.
  • Experience generating recruitment marketing content.
  • Understanding of right-to-work, licensing and hospitality compliance.
  • Exposure to early careers or apprenticeship recruitment.
